I hear this song on the radio, and the chorus hits me. I wish I was a a disco boy (disco boy). I wish I was a guy that went to clubs, had fun, and partied. I think the song is just referring to heterosexual behavior, going to the clubs; but since I’m who I am, I think it’s the “boi” term. I’m happy with who I am; this just makes me pine for my 20s again and having taken more advantage of the time I had.
So if you are in your 20s, take advantage of the time you have being in the prime years of your life. I know, like you need a dad telling you what to do or giving you more advice.
I read an article recently that basically says whatever decade of life you’re in, 25% think that’s the best. And it’s generally split among the other decades. Until you’re in your 50s. It’s all behind you then. I’ve got a few years left then.

What would you have done instead?
kept my shirt on and gone back to school. I think I turned out pretty good, so I guess I should leave that alone, and say that I must have made the right decisions. Hope you are doing well and feeling better. My throat is killing me!

That’s a great point. We shouldn’t beat ourselves up too bad over our past. It got us where we are today. No one wouldn’t change anything, so just take the lesson to not regret how we live now so we don’t continue to regret more in the future?

What do I regret? Being afraid. Not accepting who I was and letting fear run my life. Even apart from sexuality and sex, fear runs me.
I feel you. I’m afraid of everything especially jumping into new things that I am not familiar with. Not so much anymore. But I believe my medication has gotten to a place where it isn’t so bad, or a big deal.I just don’t read into or analyze so deeply.
